One day, a tiny mouse accidentally wakes a big lion from his nap and was caught by the lion. The mouse begs for forgiveness and promises friendship and help in return. Amused by the prospect of being helped by a mouse, the lion decides to let the mouse go. Yet when the lion gets into trouble, it is indeed only the mouse who can help. This Aesop's fable reminds children that "Little friends may prove to be great friends" and that "Mercy has its share of rewards."
